Our MANAGEMENT team
Dr. Gi Won On
Giwon is founder and CEO of TRUBICON Crypto Securities & Investment GmbH, which helps innovative companies as well as asset managers to strengthen and broaden their horizon on an international scale. Prior to joining TRUBICON, Giwon worked for several asset managers, organisations and Korean SMEs. He was Special Advisor and Venture Partner of Idinvest Partners in Paris since 2016, developing its IR business in Korea. The first successful capital raising in Korea for Idinvest Partners was realised during that time. Prior to that, Giwon was President of the Korea-EU Innovation Center (KIC-Europe) in Brussels, Belgium. He was responsible for the structural and strategic organisation, government relations as well as Korea-EU innovation cooperation for Korean SMEs and Startups. Giwon is an expert in strategic management, organisation and international business development, especially between Korea and Europe. Giwon studied computer science and received his doctorate degree (Dr.-Ing.) from the Darmstadt University of Technology (TUD) and a Master degree (Diplom Informatiker) from the University of Dortmund, in Germany.
Jürgen Bund
Jürgen Bund holds the position of VP for International Cooperation at TRUBICON. Since 2013, he focuses on business development and coaching, primarily for the promotion and establishment of international R&D and innovation projects, and startups. Prior to this, Jürgen Bund set up 5 technology startups in Germany, Portugal and the UK. He also participated in the preparation and constitution of the Portuguese research institute CCG - Centro de Computação Gráfica. Jurgen Bund is co-founder and Managing Director of Tridivisions, a Portuguese consulting company specialized in Business Development, Technology-to-Market, innovation project setup, coordination and management, and coaching. Between 2016 and 2022, he also held the position of Managing Director at GraphicsVision.AI, a Germany based, international R&D network. Throughout his long career, Jürgen Bund worked in a variety of technological fields including AI, data, robotics, AI, VR and visualization, sensing and automation, applied in sustainability, environment, pollution, agri-food, ecosystems monitoring and preservation, transportation, smart and sustainable cities, smart manufacturing and smart mobility. He is fluent in German, English, Portuguese, French and Spanish.
